Pack plastic bottles with labels, food wrappers, contaminated bags, or any other little things like cigarette butts, micro plastic bits ect… anything that is probably too dirty and small to be recycled the traditional way. Stuff it tightly with a chopstick to minimize air pockets, then put the cap on it. 🤓 How are Eco bricks used? Ecobricks + Wire + Concrete = Wall! Bottles are bound between wires, attached to a metal frame, applied with cement and sand mix, painted and finished! 🧐 Why make Eco bricks with plastic? By stuffing bottles with dirty plastic, you don’t only keep bugs away from your trash bin, but it also cuts down on smell and space. Plastic bits are better stored in the bottles for 100+ years than traveling through our eco systems, the oceans, and in to our food chain. 😲 How does it help the environment? Eco bricks are a simple solution to a serious problem since the labels and bags are easy to break down and are targeted as a false food source first.
